celebrating my 9th birthday in 1983
When I was growing up we had a metallic-colored happy birthday banner that came out every time someone in my family had a birthday. When I was shopping at a party supply store for my son’s first birthday party seven years ago and I saw the same banner, I thought it would be funny/nostalgic to get the same one. And ever since then I’ve hung it up every time someone in my family has had a birthday.
But now the time has come to say goodbye to the foil letters. My friend, Summer Knobloch, recently requested a happy birthday banner, and I loved it so much that I added it to my website and decided that I need one for myself as well!
